About The Position

Visiting Angels is currently looking for compassionate, certified, and experienced Caregiver Angels to join their team serving residents of King County. As a Caregiver, you will work 1-on-1 with clients in their homes to ensure they can remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Client care includes companionship, light hands-on assistance, heavy hands-on bed-bound personal care, and end-of-life hospice care with nurse delegation. Responsibilities may include assisting clients with errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal planning/cooking, personal care, and providing companionship. The agency offers a variety of shifts, including short, long, overnight, and live-ins, and works around the caregiver's availability and preferred work locations. This is an opportunity to work for a home care agency that has been serving the greater King County area for over 20 years.

Requirements

  • HCA CNA Exemption Letter with Active NAR
  • Driver's License if applicable
  • Work Authorization: United States (Required)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED (or be open to applicants without one)
  • Must have experience as a caregiver (or be open to those returning to the workforce with limited experience)

  • Homecare Aide Certification Training (offered by the agency)
  • Nursing students looking to enhance caregiving skills

Responsibilities

  • Work 1-on-1 with clients in their home to ensure they are able to remain safe, comfortable and independent.
  • Provide companionship.
  • Provide light hands-on assistance.
  • Provide heavy hands-on bed bound personal care.
  • Provide end of life hospice care with nurse delegation.
  • Assist clients with errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping.
  • Provide medication reminders.
