Requirements
- Graduate of a Medicaid-approved Nursing Assistant program with certificate of completion
- Active Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to meet facility onboarding and screening requirements
- Ability to support resident mobility, positioning, and daily care activities in a long-term care environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or skilled nursing settings
- Experience working within collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Previous experience supporting residents with memory care or mental health needs
Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living activities that promote comfort, dignity, mobility, and independence.
- Observe resident conditions and communicate changes or concerns to licensed nursing staff
- Assist with specimen collection, resident preparation for activities, and routine clinical support tasks
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment focused on dignity and consistency
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support individualized resident care plans
- Accurately document care activities and assigned resident information as directed
