About The Position

Park Place Health and Wellness Center, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Part Time, 3:00PM - 11:00PM. Park Place Health and Wellness Center is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve! The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Pass a physical.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Pass a 50-pound lift test.
• Pass fingerprint for criminal background.
• Complete a reference check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and care to residents in accordance with their needs.
• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
• Remind residents of medications.
• Make beds.
• Respond to call lights.
• Document work performed.
