Requirements

Active certification on the Maine CNA Registry in good standing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer proficiency
The ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professional judgment
Proficiency in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a designated neighborhood, which may include long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care.
Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Help residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate using proper techniques.
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
Support resident independence while providing compassionate, person-centered care.
Record care and observations accurately in the electronic medical record.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Follow all infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
