About The Position

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Focus in Senior Resident care to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. At Fellowship Square Christian Care, we are committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to our senior residents.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid CNA certification in the state of Arizona.
Certified Caregiver Certification- Must be able to pass Meds
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to care for seniors.
Ability to lift and assist with mobility and transfers, following proper safety protocols.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
Monitor and report changes in residents' health status, including vital signs, physical condition, and emotional well-being.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
Assist with medication reminders and follow established medication administration protocols under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Help residents with transfers, including assisting with moving in and out of bed, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by keeping residents' rooms and common areas organized, and ensuring adherence to infection control procedures.
Support residents with rehabilitation exercises and other health-related activities as directed by the care team.
Document care provided, including daily activities, health observations, and any changes in residents' condition, in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are followed.
Respond to emergencies or requests for assistance in a timely and appropriate manner.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other team members to provide holistic care and ensure the comfort and safety of all residents.
