About The Position

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Focus in Senior Resident care to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. At Fellowship Square Christian Care, we are committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to our senior residents.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid CNA certification in the state of Arizona.
  • Certified Caregiver Certification- Must be able to pass Meds
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to care for seniors.
  • Ability to lift and assist with mobility and transfers, following proper safety protocols.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health status, including vital signs, physical condition, and emotional well-being.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and caring environment.
  • Assist with medication reminders and follow established medication administration protocols under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Help residents with transfers, including assisting with moving in and out of bed, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by keeping residents' rooms and common areas organized, and ensuring adherence to infection control procedures.
  • Support residents with rehabilitation exercises and other health-related activities as directed by the care team.
  • Document care provided, including daily activities, health observations, and any changes in residents' condition, in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are followed.
  • Respond to emergencies or requests for assistance in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other team members to provide holistic care and ensure the comfort and safety of all residents.
