About The Position

YourADH (formerly Vitra Adult Day Health) is growing, and we know our team is the foundation of our success. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Program Assistant (CNA/HHA) to join our Adult Day Health Center in Brockton, MA. Our center provides a supportive, structured environment designed to meet the physical, functional, and social needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities, including those with complex medical and rehabilitative needs.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts CNA or HHA certification required
• At least 1 year of experience working with adults in healthcare or social services
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities
• Support and encourage safe practices and proper nutrition
• Observe and report changes in participants’ physical or mental condition to the Adult Day RN
• Follow all care procedures, documentation standards, and professional conduct guidelines
• Assist with and supervise daily activity programs (arts, crafts, group activities)
• Support community outings and scheduled trips
• Prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned
