About The Position
Visiting Angels Homecare is seeking compassionate, trustworthy, motivated, and independent individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). We are the leader in homecare, voted the local best homecare agency in the Sioux Falls area. Our caregivers provide care for the elderly in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence. While a CNA certificate is not strictly required, CNAs on our team must be capable of providing comprehensive care to all clients. Hands-on training is available. We offer rewarding caregiver jobs on both a full-time and part-time basis for those passionate about providing dignified and respectful care to seniors.
Requirements
- 1 year of caregiving experience (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Working email and phone
- Ability to pass a background check
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Reliable transportation, including during snow days
Nice To Haves
- CNA Certificate is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Assist with light housework.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Operate mechanical lifts (e.g., Hoyer, stand-aid) when necessary.
