About The Position

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pahrump, NV, to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care provided at the patient's residence. The schedule is Monday - Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm, with flexibility to work with your schedule. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Requirements

Current CPR certification
Current First Aid certification
TB test & physical examination
Ability to monitor vital signs.
Good interpersonal skills
Caring and compassionate personality
Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients.
Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
Provide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological support.
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Adhere to the patient’s established plan of care.
Execute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record.
Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
Remind patient of and administer medication as prescribed.
Maintain records and documentation of daily services.
Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
