The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), also known as a State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA), provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member. The role emphasizes providing excellent patient care with empathy, compassion, communication, and teamwork, respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of each individual. This position is for a full-time, 3rd shift (Nights) role on a telemetry unit specializing in general medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those with conditions like pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke, CHF, and chest pain, as well as post-operative patients. The patient population often has multiple co-morbidities and complex care needs, with patients admitted or transferred from ICU, ED, and PACU.
