The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for a variety of patient care duties, including locating patients, obtaining vital signs, triaging, assessing medical conditions, and preparing patients for examinations and treatment. The role involves utilizing the electronic medical record system, ordering supplies, assisting nurses and physicians, performing lab duties such as phlebotomy, sterilizing instruments, and managing supplies. Maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas, handling laundry, and operating medical equipment are also key responsibilities. The CNA is expected to adhere to established policies and procedures, follow ancillary guidelines, and report to the Charge Nurse before leaving their shift. Teamwork, positive customer service, and flexibility to assist as needed are essential. This role requires availability for scheduled staff meetings and the ability to adapt to interruptions in breaks or mealtimes for patient care needs.
