About The Position
Benson Heights Rehab Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join their team. Avalon Care Center is dedicated to providing outstanding care to residents and fostering an excellent work environment for its staff. Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
- Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
- Recent education or clinical hours are required.
- You need to be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
- Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
- Interdepartmental communications within care team
