About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Dayshift position is a vital role within healthcare settings, focused on providing compassionate and attentive care to patients during daytime hours. Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the employer.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Additional training or coursework in geriatric or pediatric care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.
  • Provide mobility support by helping patients move safely around the facility, including transferring and repositioning bedridden patients.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment by following infection control protocols and facility guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
