About The Position
Lanessa Extended Care in Webster is hiring CNAs! Full-time and part-time openings on all shifts. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents, providing routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures. $21 to $25 an hour, depending on the shift, with weekly pay. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials.
Requirements
- Possess an active and unencunbered CNA license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one
- New graduates welcome!
- Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and family members
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
Responsibilities
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
- Participate in planning and following current resident care plans
- Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly
- Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them
- Document accurately and completely
- Meet personal grooming needs for each resident
- Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in resident care areas
- Demonstrate correct safety techniques and maintain knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies
