About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide on-site nursing services for a School in Sarasota County, Florida. The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.
Requirements
- Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum one (1) year of patient care experience preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Monitor and report changes in student condition to nursing staff.
- Support classroom participation for students with medical needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned services.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Assist during emergencies as directed by nursing staff.
- Any other duties as assigned
