Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Weekends Day Shift
About The Position
This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) where residents do not require skilled care. As a CNA at our behavioral health center, you will play a significant role in helping residents feel safe, supported, and on track with their psychological rehabilitation and recovery goals. You will be part of a close-knit behavioral health team that works together daily. The role involves supporting guests with daily care, encouraging healthy routines, and helping to create a calm, positive, and respectful environment. You will collaborate with nurses, therapists, and coordinators as part of a strong care team, serving as a steady and friendly presence for residents and assisting in de-escalating behavioral issues. Our patients are ambulatory, which means less lifting compared to a SNF center. We utilize iPads for quick and easy bedside documentation.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in IL
- Availability every other weekend (every other Saturday and Sunday) position
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required
