About The Position
This is a full time opportunity to work Baylor shifts, requiring 36 weekend hours (12 hour shifts) and paid for a standard 40 hour work week. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- None required (experience).
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Performing patient care activities within the limits of the position.
- Not administering medications or therapy.
- Not assuming independent responsibility for patient care.
- Accomplishing job duties in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
