About The Position
Ridgewood Terrace, a Concord Health Systems facility, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. The facility's focus is on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The CNA plays a key role in assisting residents with daily care needs while maintaining a calm, supportive environment during the shift. This is a resident-focused nursing home environment with consistent overnight scheduling available. They are looking for CNAs for all shifts.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kentucky
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts (including nights if applicable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home preferred (but not required)
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide patient care and support in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Accurately document care provided in the medical record system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
