Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Needed!
About The Position
RieLes Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time or PRN opportunity in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. The role involves providing care to a quadriplegic employee of the Department of Interior who requires assistance during work hours due to targeted disabilities. The CNA will receive a competitive compensation package, including paid time off and health benefit options. The schedule includes guaranteed hours on Wednesday mornings (7 AM - 11:30 AM) and Thursday/Friday (7 AM - 3:30 PM), totaling 20 hours per week. Additionally, the position serves as PRN/backup for other caretakers in case of appointments or emergencies.
Requirements
- Must have a current and valid BLS Certification
- Must have at least one year of verified experience performing similar duties
- Must be dependable (good attendance)
- Strong interpersonal working skills are required
- Must be able to successfully pass the government’s background screening process
Responsibilities
- Assistance with getting out of bed using a Hoyer Lift
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Maintaining hygiene during the employee’s workday
- Feeding
- Holding beverages
- Light physical movement, 10-minute range of motion stretches, and mobility assistance (i.e. tilting chair every 30 minutes for a pre-determined amount of time).
- Administrative Support to include retrieving mail and packages, assisting with navigating to the designated workstation
- Occasional filing, assembling and/or mailing of materials.
