The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will participate in the implementation of the nursing process by giving direct care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). This role involves performing special procedures correctly, creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and ensuring complete, accurate, and timely communication of patient information. The CNA will communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with the team, co-workers, patients, and family members. They will also take personal responsibility for their performance, professional growth, and development, and provide age/developmental appropriate patient care.
