About The Position

Prestige Loving Home Care is looking for reliable and compassionate on-call caregivers to support our clients throughout Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity for caregivers who want flexible hours, extra shifts, or supplemental income. As an on-call caregiver, you play a vital role in improving the daily lives of our clients. You will provide personalized, in-home care and companionship while assisting with daily activities. We are seeking caring and reliable CNAs or Home Health Aides who find purpose in supporting individuals with hospice care needs, memory care challenges, or developmental disabilities, and who take pride in making each client feel valued and respected.

Requirements

Ability to commute within Indianapolis, IN
Availability for short-notice or last-minute shifts
Willingness to work weekends or evenings as needed

Nice To Haves

Experience in hospice care or familiarity with end-of-life support services is preferred.
Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly for those with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility challenges.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients.
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercises
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping related to client care
Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
