About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a CNA for our Orthopedic Unit. This role involves providing care for surgical patients with joint replacements, fractures, and major or minor traumas. The position is 0.2 FTE, working 16 hours bi-weekly. Employees will work 8-hour Day/PM shifts (6:30am - 3:00pm and 2:30pm - 11:00pm) and 4-hour PM shifts (2:30pm-7:00pm; 6:30pm - 11:00pm). This role requires working every other weekend and three holidays a year. The starting pay is $18.64 per hour, with potential for more based on experience. Additional differentials are provided for PMs ($.75), Nights ($1.75), and Weekends ($1.50). A 40-hour flex overtime computation is in place. Requirements

  • Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire
