About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) in Gravette, Arkansas, has a PRN opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Medication Therapy Department. The CNA is responsible for maintaining a safe, neat, and clean patient environment, ensuring the upkeep of supplies and equipment, and participating in patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or has a significant amount of nursing assistant experience in the hospital setting.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class.
  • Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years hospital experience preferred, preferably in an outpatient clinic or inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and maintains a safe, neat, and clean patient environment.
  • Ensures the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedure.
  • Participates in patient care activities as a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of a registered nurse.
