Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working as a CNA.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Additional certifications or training in healthcare.
  • Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with resident mobility, including transferring and repositioning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Document resident care and observations accurately.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
  • Respond to resident call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
