About The Position
The care you provide can shape a resident’s entire day. At Southfield Village, we’re looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who enjoys helping older adults feel comfortable, respected, and supported. As a faith-based, nonprofit community within Greencroft Communities, we put relationships and quality care at the center of what we do. You’ll work alongside nurses, caregivers, and other team members who understand that great resident care starts with treating people with kindness.
Requirements
- A current Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- A genuine interest in working with older adults
- A dependable, caring, and team-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
Nice To Haves
- Previous senior care experience is valuable
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities
- Providing attentive care that promotes dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence
- Helping residents prepare for and transition through their evening routines
- Observing residents and promptly reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff
- Working closely with nurses and fellow caregivers to coordinate resident care
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Building positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate service
