About The Position

Delta View Post Acute is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their growing team. This role involves providing hands-on care and daily support to residents while working closely with licensed nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The CNA's dedication and compassion are important in ensuring residents receive safe, respectful, and personalized care.

Requirements

  • Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
  • Measure and document vital signs and other resident information.
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
  • Accurately document resident care according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life.
