About The Position

SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support to clients throughout Mesa County. Home care offers a unique opportunity to spend meaningful time with the people you serve. Rather than caring for multiple residents in a facility setting, you'll provide individualized care in clients' homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Whether you're a seasoned CNA or newly certified, we'd love to talk to you!

Requirements

• Current Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, current auto insurance
• Compassionate, reliable, professional
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation
• Ability to work independently and communicate

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, hospice, or other health settings is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation
• Monitor for changes in condition, communicate concerns
• Provide companionship and encourage social engagement
• Assist with light housekeeping and household support tasks
• Follow individualized care plans and established care instructions
• Document care provided
