About The Position

This position requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN (as needed) shifts. Clinical experience in an acute care environment is preferred. The role involves using interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and physicians, demonstrating problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to cope effectively in challenging situations.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• Graduated from a nursing assistant program OR a student of a nursing program that has completed fundamentals of nursing class OR on the job training.
• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients with or without assistance from equipment.
• Ability to work extended periods on feet and perform repetitive movement.
