We are based in Lithonia, Georgia, and provide services throughout Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jackson, and Rockdale Counties. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality in-home care and support to our client in Crawfordville, GA 30631.
Requirements
- Current and valid CNA certification/license as required by the state.
- Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow the client's service plan.
- Must be able to successfully complete required background checks and agency onboarding requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation to the client's home.
Nice To Haves
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
- CPR certification preferred/required as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs.
- Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when required.
- Provide light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with medication reminders as permitted by the client's service plan and applicable regulations.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or behavioral condition.
- Follow the client's service plan and instructions provided by the supervising nurse or agency.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided.
- Report incidents, injuries, changes in condition, or other concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain the client's privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
