Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Must be 18 years or older (required)
- Current and active New Jersey CNA certification or enrollment in New Jersey CNA program (required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in long-term care setting (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care support to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Follow resident care plans and complete appropriate documentation to support continuity of care
- Conduct regular rounds on residents to provide consistent, individualized support
- Assist residents during mealtimes and with mobility and adaptive equipment
- Build meaningful connections with residents and work collaboratively with team members
- Communicate resident preferences to other staff for seamless care and experience and report any changes in resident status to nursing as appropriate
