About The Position

The Community at Rockhill, a Grace Inspired Living community in Sellersville, PA, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents. As a CNA, you will work closely with the nursing team to ensure resident safety and comfort, providing direct care. Founded in 1935, The Community at Rockhill is a Life Plan Community offering a continuum of care including Residential Living, Personal Care, and Health Care. Requirements

Current PA CNA certification is required.
A graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program is required.
Possess the ability to follow directives and work with an attitude of cooperation and a willingness to learn.
Possess the ability to deliver quality customer service in a positive and respectful manner.
Possess the desire to care for the elderly.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with residents, family members and fellow team members.
Possess the ability to obtain proficiency with newly acquired skills and procedures.
Possess the ability to follow directives.
Possess the ability to prioritize tasks according to resident needs.
Possess the ability to work with an attitude of cooperation and willingness to learn.
Attend meetings and complete Relias in-services as required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care, performing basic nursing skills as assigned in accordance with current aide training curriculum.
Complete assignments in a timely manner.
Identify special resident problems, safety hazards and emergency situations and report them immediately to the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
Review Care Plans and perform the nursing care as outlined.
Participate in resident care conferences, and assist in the revision of the plan of care when appropriate.
Document accurately in Point Click Care and accurately complete Resident care forms.
Follow Rockhill's process for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
Assist in the delivery of Restorative Nursing Process in accordance with Rockhill's procedures.
Adhere to all infection control procedures and process.
Participate in the orientation of new CNA's to Rockhill.
Serve on committees or special projects as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor.
Perform other related duties as directed by the Unit Manager/Shift Supervisor, ADON and DON.
Adheres to the Values and Expectations statement and element of the compliance program.
Adheres to the Organizations Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
