About The Position
This role involves providing direct care to residents, assisting them with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and reporting any changes in their condition to the nursing staff. The position also requires maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in the applicable state.
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Help residents move around the facility safely.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide companionship and build trusting relationships with residents.
- Report any significant changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
