About The Position
Park View Nursing and Subacute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Sub Acute unit to join their team. They are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide the best care to residents, prioritizing resident care and comfort under the direction of a licensed nurse. This role involves providing hands-on support to residents, ensuring they receive high-quality care that aligns with their individual needs.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers
- Assisting licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information
- Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy environment for residents and staff
