About The Position

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking energetic, dependable, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their 5-Star Medicare Rated team. The role involves providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents in both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation settings. CNAs play an essential role in creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents.

Requirements

Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is preferred.
New CNAs are welcome to apply! Training and support are available to help you develop your skills and succeed in your role.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centered daily nursing care according to each resident's care plan and individual needs.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and maintaining resident safety.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Promote residents' dignity, independence, privacy, and comfort.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
Work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff to provide high-quality care to both long-term residents and short-term rehabilitation patients.
