About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Travel CNA to join a long-term care nursing home facility in Elkins, WV. This role is ideal for a patient-focused healthcare professional committed to delivering high-quality resident care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, mobility support, hygiene care, and monitoring while ensuring resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.

Requirements

• Active CNA Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Ability to perform resident care and ADL support efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a healthcare team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Nice To Haves

• Previous nursing home or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Feeding
• Support resident mobility including: Ambulation, Transfers, Repositioning
• Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort throughout the shift
• Assist with pressure ulcer prevention and skin integrity maintenance
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility care protocols
• Support a clean, safe, and positive living environment for residents
