About The Position
American Village is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a caring spirit who wish to turn it into a career. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The program includes free classroom and hands-on training, enabling participants to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon successful completion of the training and testing, graduates will have opportunities within ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further pathways for career advancement in nursing.

Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and feeding assistance.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
