About The Position
Rosewalk Village Lafayette is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a caring spirit who want to turn it into a career, requiring no previous experience. The ASC Nurse Aide Training Program provides free classroom and hands-on training, enabling participants to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon successful completion of the training and testing, graduates will have opportunities within ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further career advancement pathways in nursing available.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
- Ability to secure a position at one of ASC's Indiana-based communities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and feeding assistance.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
