About The Position

Crestwood is offering a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program for individuals passionate about behavioral health and helping others on their recovery journey. For over 50 years, Crestwood has been dedicated to creating innovative recovery programs and supportive communities. This program focuses on a personal and self-directed approach to empower clients and equip them with the skills to thrive. The program includes 169 hours of training over 10 weeks, encompassing class lectures, hands-on skill labs, and clinical training. Participants will be paid $25.93/hr during the certification training and will receive tutoring for the state examination. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for their State Certification Examination.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Able to pass criminal background check
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Health Examination (provided)
  • Immunizations: Negative TB skin test, or required documentation for positive results (<12 months)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene (bathing and grooming), dressing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation/repositioning.
  • Performing routine tasks including cleaning/bed making, preparing rooms for admissions, recording food and liquid intake/output, taking vital signs, specimen collections, and gathering/stocking supplies.
