About The Position
Monticello Healthcare is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a passion for caregiving who want to turn their caring spirit into a career. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to providing compassionate care to residents. The program offers free classroom and hands-on training, enabling participants to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon successful completion of the training and testing, graduates will have opportunities at any of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further career advancement pathways available.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
- Ability to work in one of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents with meals, including transportation to the dining room and assistance with eating and drinking.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
