About The Position
Adams Health is offering a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to participate in a FREE educational program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This program provides comprehensive instruction on providing basic care to individuals using a humanistic approach in various healthcare settings. Upon completion, students will gain an understanding of healthcare system operations and the essential skills for safe and proper patient care. This program requires a 1-year employment commitment with Adams Health after certification.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Commitment to a 1-year employment with Adams Health after certification.
Responsibilities
- Participate in 30 hours of classroom lecture.
- Complete 45 hours of clinical practicum at Senior Living Facilities.
- Provide basic care to individuals utilizing a humanistic approach.
- Safely and properly provide care as per learned skills.
Benefits
- Free CNA course educational requirements.
- Paid $10.00 per hour while taking the course.
- Increased pay to $12.50 per hour after course completion.
- Payment for CNA Certification Exam.
- Pay increase to $16.00 per hour after passing the exam.
- Eligibility for a $6,000 sign-on bonus (depending on FTE).
