About The Position

Pick your own shifts as a per diem Staffing CNA with UMC HomeWorks. Earn $24 to $28 an hour, plus shift differentials up to $4 more per hour for evenings, nights, and weekends. Requirements

• Active New Jersey CNA certification
• At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• 18 years of age or older
• A flu vaccine is required for shifts inside a UMC-owned facility. It is not required for shifts based outside a UMC facility. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested.
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• Applicants may be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and provide coverage for open shifts you've agreed to
• Support residents with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Follow each resident's care plan and complete documentation accurately
• Make rounds to check on residents and provide consistent, individualized support
• Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment
• Build real relationships with residents while working alongside the care team

Benefits

• $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment
• Shift differentials: $1.00/hour evenings, $2.00/hour nights, $4.00/hour weekends
• Full control over your schedule: choose day, evening, or night shifts as they're available
