Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- Compassionate communication skills with coworkers and residents
- Willingness to learn and adhere to state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines
Responsibilities
- Respond to call lights and assist residents with their daily needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, and dressing.
- Support residents with dignity and respect, monitoring their comfort, preferences, and dietary needs.
- Document intake/output as required.
- Promptly report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
