About The Position
Provide a safe environment and emotional and social support for residents, and attend to their physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility. Perform direct care as assigned, in accordance with each resident’s care plan and supervisor direction. Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and the standards of practice established by the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures. Perform other duties as directed by community representatives.
Requirements
- Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing under applicable state laws, or otherwise meet the state’s requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant.
- High school diploma or GED, or active enrollment in a high school program.
