About The Position
Advanced Surgical Center, a growing 3-room ambulatory surgery center in Las Vegas, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a PRN basis. This role supports nursing and clinical staff by assisting with basic patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Nevada required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred
- Surgical center, outpatient, or procedural experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, ambulation, and toileting before and after procedures
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support nursing staff in pre-operative and post-operative patient care areas
- Prepare and maintain patient care areas, including room setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies
- Transport patients safely throughout the facility as directed
- Assist with documentation and charting under the direction of licensed personnel
- Follow infection prevention, OSHA, HIPAA, and patient safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and compassionate patient support
