This is a full-time position for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role involves assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) with the daily care of patients, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility. Responsibilities also include monitoring vital signs, documenting patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and participating in patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. The CNA will perform purposeful rounding, assist with patient positioning and transportation, and support nutritional needs and skin integrity. Additionally, the role involves collecting specimens, adhering to infection prevention policies, coordinating tests and treatments, facilitating communication, and maintaining patient charts. The position requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care and possess knowledge of growth and development principles.
