About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – LTC for an exciting Local job in Far Rockaway, NY. This is a contract position for 13 weeks, with a pay rate of $23/hour and variable day shifts. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, supporting personal care needs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety within a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
Requirements
- Active CNA Certification
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent LTC/SNF experience required
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Ability to work variable day shifts and overtime if needed
- Must be comfortable working every other weekend
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and conditions
- Support mobility, hygiene, feeding, and personal care needs
- Maintain patient comfort and safety
- Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare staff
- Follow infection control and facility safety guidelines
- Accurately document patient care activities
