About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to deliver high-quality basic nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of LPNs and RNs, you will assist residents with daily living activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and foster resident independence and dignity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ year of current clinical experience as a CNA/LNA
  • Willingness to float to different units or care areas as needed
  • Active State Nursing Assistant License or valid Compact License
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Completed COVID-19 primary vaccination series

Nice To Haves

  • Prior travel assignment experience
  • Experience in rural or small healthcare facilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, skin care, and personal hygiene according to individual Resident Care Plans.
  • Support resident mobility, including ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, turning, positioning, and safe patient transfers.
  • Assist residents with meals, hydration, feeding, caloric counts, intake/output tracking, toileting, and bowel/bladder training.
  • Maintain resident safety and confidentiality at all times, respond to emergency situations (such as falls or fire drills), and report significant clinical or behavioral changes to licensed staff.
  • Follow strict infection control techniques, maintain clean resident living spaces, and respect individual spiritual and personal preferences.
