About The Position

If you’re a CNA who’s exhausted by heavy ratios, rushed care, and never having enough time — hospice may be the change you’ve been looking for. At Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, our Hospice CNAs provide one-on-one care to patients and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. This role is slower paced, relationship-driven, and supported by a strong nursing team so you’re never on your own. This is not facility work. This is hospice.

Requirements

• Missouri CNA certification required
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Willingness to travel within the St. Louis area
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate mindset

Nice To Haves

• Hospice or long-term care experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Follow the individualized Hospice Aide Plan of Care
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nurse case manager
• Document care and services provided accurately and timely
• Safely use and assist with durable medical equipment
• Support patients and families with compassion and professionalism
