Requirements
- Current CNA registry in the state of Minnesota
- Six (6) months of experience in a home healthcare preferred
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and auto
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Providing the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
- Helping with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
- Providing medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
- Ensuring a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
- Participating in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
