About The Position

Matrix Home Care is hiring a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one care for a patient in the Kissimmee, FL 34744 area. This is a field-based position within home care. Matrix Home Care is a trusted home care agency providing compassionate, high-quality care throughout Florida. Requirements

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate
  • Home care or private duty experience preferred
  • Experience assisting with bed baths, wheelchair support, and pivot transfers preferred
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in the home setting
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must meet all background screening and onboarding requirements
  • Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
  • Assist with bed baths, hygiene care, and grooming
  • Provide wheelchair assistance as needed
  • Assist with safe pivot transfers to and from chair
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed
  • Provide companionship and patient support
  • Assist with meals and light housekeeping
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
  • Follow the patient’s care plan and agency guidelines
  • Communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate team member
  • Maintain professionalism and respect for the patient and family at all times
