About The Position
Richmond Center is offering a fully sponsored CNA Training course for eligible candidates who will work at their Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a great career option for those who love to help others. Space is limited. The location of employment after training will be Richmond Center, located in Staten Island, NY.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be in good standing with the State Registry
- Ability to work as a team member
Responsibilities
- Observing Residents in assigned units
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
- Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
- Transporting Residents within the Facility
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
